Dr. Trent Murphy never liked going to the dentist growing up, until one visit changed everything. A friendly, upbeat dentist took the time to explain what was happening and made him feel at ease. That experience stuck with him, and it’s exactly what he aims to pass on to every patient he sees: compassion, comfort, and care that puts you first.

Known for his easy conversation style, Dr. Murphy makes it a priority to connect with patients on a personal level, from golf games to family stories. He keeps social notes in every chart so you’re more than just a set of teeth—you’re someone he genuinely cares about.

I probably talk too much, but if sharing a story or cracking a joke helps someone feel at ease in the chair, I’m all for it. Dentistry’s about more than teeth. It’s about making people feel cared for.

With a background in Medical Sciences and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Western University’s Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Dr. Murphy blends strong clinical knowledge with a calm, people-first approach. He’s especially passionate about helping patients through pain and difficult situations, always imagining how he’d want his own mom, brother, or child to be treated.

Originally from Pelham, Ontario, Dr. Murphy now lives in Komoka with his wife (an eye doctor), their son, and their two golden retrievers. When he’s not in the clinic, you’ll find him golfing, camping, working on his lawn, or simply enjoying the outdoors with his family.
